Get Trendy For Spring 2015

Fashion One welcomes the new season with a curated selection of the best Spring 2015 trends — from runway minimalism to the return of saturated colour.

March 6, 2015, New York — Fashion One, the premiere fashion, entertainment and lifestyle international broadcaster, welcomes the new season with a curated selection of the best Spring 2015 trends. From pastel tailoring to boxy outerwear, the season looks back to look forward.

Our editors spent six weeks in Milan, Paris and New York speaking with buyers, stylists and the designers themselves. The resulting dossier catalogues twelve movements — some quiet, some loud — that will define the months ahead.

"The loudest of these is the return of saturated colour."

The loudest of these is the return of saturated colour. After three seasons of beige-on-beige, spring insists on cadmium reds, cobalt blues, and a particular shade of citron that seemed to appear simultaneously in the collections of five unrelated houses.

The quieter movement is in proportion. Shoulders softened. Hems dropped. The boxy silhouette that carried winter has been pared back without being abandoned — a kind of editorial hedging that feels distinctly 2015.
