LOS ANGELES, November 1, 2010 -- Bigfoot Entertainment, Inc. has opened the doors on its latest venture, Bigfoot Ascendant Distribution, LLC, its theatrical and home entertainment distribution division and foreign sales arm. The new branch of Bigfoot, an international entertainment company, is currently looking to acquire feature films to complement its current roster, which includes fast-paced action film "Lord of War" (Nicolas Cage, Ethan Hawk), romantic period drama "Ask the Dust" (Colin Farrell, Salma Hayek) and quirky crime thriller "Lucky Number Slevin" (Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman) among others. Initial plans are to release four to six films per year under the Bigfoot Ascendant label.

"Our goal is to be producer-friendly," said Kacy Andrews, CEO of Bigfoot Entertainment and Bigfoot Ascendant. We aren't looking to compete with the big studio distributers; we're simply filling the void of mid-level opportunities that we've seen while on the other side of the fence."
