Bigfoot Jobs: Filmschool Mentor Filmaking Mentors
Location : Los Angeles
Employment Status : Project Contract
Job Purpose:
  • Teach specified courses within the mentor’s area of expertise, perform research, develop lesson plans, grade assignments, consult with students, coordinate student projects and assignments, attending occasional staff meetings, and attending occasional marketing-related events and activities.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Structure and continuity of the course in relation to the curriculum
  • Preparing or Updatind the course outline per the approved template
  • Ensuring delivery of subject content to students
Job Requirements
Skills and Knowledge
  • 4-5 years practical experience in area of expertise and 1-2 years teaching experience
  • Candidate may be required to work on night shifts and/or weekends
Education
  • Requires a bachelor's degree of related field
 
Bigfoot Jobs: Web Developer Web Developer
Employment Status : Freelance
Job Purpose:
  • The web developer shall develop, maintain and update company websites, conceptualizing and post-production delivery.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Updates web content on various company websites
  • Works with various departments to gather updated web materials
  • Maintains or enhances existing web-based applications
  • Converts content to HTML or other web-based presentation format
  • Cleans up or archives outdated web pages and content
  • Works with graphic design team to implement new designs and ideas
  • Performs other reasonable tasks and duties assigned by superior and/or any changes in the role due to organizational restructuring and realignment effected from time to time
Job Requirements
Skills and Knowledge
  • Proficient with X/HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other web technologies
  • Experience with PHP/MySQL application development strongly preferred
  • Possesses an above average working experience with CMS
  • Comfort level with Unix / Linux server environment
  • Knowledge of graphic design and tools
  • Java development experience a plus
  • Well versed in MS applications; familiarity in MAC environment is a plus
  • Organization, documentation and coordination skills
Education
  • BS Computer Science / Information Technology or its equivalent
